Daniel von Weinberger was born on June 10 1950
in Antwerp, Belgium
From 1965 until 1973, he studied jewelry, fashion and theatre design at the Royal Academy of Art in Antwerp, Belgium;
and enameling at the Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem, Israel and from 1980 until 1983,
painting at the Academy of fine Arts in Temse, Belgium.
From 2000 until 2002 he got 2 Master degrees 1.Master in Visual Arts tree Dimension Design and 2.Master in Fashion-Textile and Stage costume Design.
From 1970 until 1980, he worked as a theatre, costume and set designer
for opera, ballet musical and television both in Belgium and in Israel.
From 1977 until 2015 he was professor of art in the jewelry, fashion and theatre department of the Municipal Art Academy of Berchem, Belgium.
From 1970 onwards, he participated in over 100 group exhibitions in Belgium, USA, Germany, Japan, Slovakia, Poland, Portugal, Great Britain, Spain, Swiss, Austria, Bulgari, Lebanon and The Netherlands with jewels, paintings, sculptures, mail art, Box art, installations and videos.
Additionally, from 1975 onwards, 36 individual exhibitions charted the development of his work.
He also curated exhibitions and fashion shows with works by other artists.
From 2010 on he published four coffee table books.
